Tour 4 days and 3 nights in the desert:

Dades Gorges, Zagoura Oasis and Sahara Desert

An overview of the great South Morocco starting from Marrakesh, crossing the Atlas landscapes, the highest mountains of North Africa and passing through Ait Ben Haddou, one of the oldest Berber villages in Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and nowdays famous all over the world for its film production. Along the Bab Sahara (Ouarzazate) we will reach Zagoura, the entrance and the beginning of the wonders of the Great Sahara. We will continue our journey through the thousand different landscapes to the Dades gorges where we will spend the night. The day, after a walk in the Toudra gorges, we will head towards the Sahara desert to spend an emotional night in a Bedouin camp, admiring a fairy-tale sky full of stars. The last day we will leave Merzouga to return to Marrakesh through the Rose Valley, known for the scent of its rose gardens, to enjoy a last traditional Moroccan lunch.

DAY 1 Marrakesh-Zagoura

• Pick-up from the riad and departure for Ait Ben Haddou through the Atlas Mountains
• Visit with a private guide who speaks Italian in Ait Ben Haddou (Unesco heritage Kasbah)
• Berber lunch at the village
• Trekking in the oasis of Zagoura with dromedaries (duration 1h walk in the saddle, at sunset)
• Private tent in the desert with dinner and Berber music around the fire

DAY 2 Zagoura- Dades Gorges

• Trekking at dawn in the desert with dromedaries (duration 1h) and breakfast.
• Lunch in Ait Ben Haddou
• Short stop in the valley of roses
• Night in the riad and breakfast at the Dades gorges

 DAY 3 Dades-Merzouga Gorges

• Mini trekking with guide at the Toudra gorges
• Lunch in a village along the way
• Trekking in the Sahara desert (Merzouga) with dromedaries (duration 1h walk in the saddle, at sunset)
• Private tent in the desert with dinner and Berber music around the fire

DAY 4 Merzouga-Marrakesh (accompaniment to the riad)

• Trekking in the desert with dromedaries (duration 1h at sunrise) and breakfast.
• Departure towards the Rose valley where lunch will take place.
• Return to Marrakesh.
